We are excited to present the following guest speakers:
Alli Coombe - Clarence City Council
Greater Hobart Sport Infrastructure Strategy
Alli Coombe is the Manager Environment, Facilities and Recreation for the City of Clarence.
Clarence is one of six Greater Hobart councils that are collaborating to develop the Greater Hobart Sport Infrastructure Strategy, an initiative that prioritises a regional, coordinated approach to sporting facility investment.
Clarence City and Greater Hobart’s existing sporting facilities are at capacity and struggling to keep up with an explosion in demand, particularly among women and girls, and junior participants.
To address this, the City of Clarence is seeking to partner with the Tasmanian and Australian Governments to develop a regional community sports hub at Clarence Plains - the Bayview Secondary College Sports Precinct.
